Subscription & Billing Policy

This Subscription & Billing Policy explains how paid features, subscriptions, billing, and cancellations work within Dear Heart. By purchasing or using a paid subscription, you agree to this policy.
1. Subscription Plans
Dear Heart may offer free access with limited features and optional paid subscriptions such as Dear Heart Plus.
Subscription features may include:
- extended conversations
- saved conversation history
- journaling features
- personalization
- multilingual support
- future premium tools
- enhanced user experience features
Features may evolve over time as the platform develops.
2. Free Plan Limitations
Free accounts may include limitations such as restricted daily conversations, limited saved history, reduced access to premium features, or limited usage periods. Feature availability may change without prior notice as Dear Heart continues to improve.
3. Billing and Payments
Subscriptions are billed monthly, annually, or according to the pricing plan selected at the time of purchase. Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges based on your selected plan unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
4. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand. Renewal charges will use the payment method associated with your account. Users are responsible for managing their subscription settings and payment information.
5. Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through account settings, app store subscription management, or the payment provider used for the purchase.
After cancellation:
- premium access may continue until the end of the active billing period
- future charges will stop unless the subscription is renewed
6. Refund Policy
Unless required by law or stated otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, including partially used billing periods. However, Dear Heart may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis where appropriate.
Refund policies for purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or third-party providers may be subject to those platforms' own policies.
7. Pricing Changes
Dear Heart may update subscription pricing, features, or plans in the future. If pricing changes occur, users may be notified in advance where required, and updated pricing may apply at the next billing cycle. Continued use of paid services after changes means acceptance of the updated pricing.
8. Service Availability
While we aim to provide a smooth and reliable experience, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of specific features. Features may change, improve, pause, or be discontinued as Dear Heart evolves.
9. AI Service Limitations
Paid subscriptions do not guarantee perfect AI responses, emotional outcomes, uninterrupted conversations, or human-level understanding. Dear Heart remains an AI-powered platform and responses may sometimes be inaccurate or imperfect.
10. Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information, securing their account access, and monitoring subscription activity. Unauthorized account sharing, fraudulent payments, or misuse of subscription services may result in suspension or termination.
11. Taxes and Fees
Applicable taxes, transaction fees, or currency conversion charges may apply depending on the user's country, payment provider, or local regulations. Users are responsible for any applicable charges required by their payment method or region.
